AIMS
AND OBJECTIVES…….
Kshitij
& Anjuman,
well organized Art societies were formed in 1994 & 1999
respectively with the sole aim of providing a platform, to the
established as well as upcoming artists, to make their
presence felt in the field of art. Since its inception it has
been successfully conducting Exhibitions, Workshops,
Demonstrations, Competitions etc. for all age groups to
encourage one and all to come up and exhibit the hidden and
unexplored virgin talent. The societies had a modest beginning
but it has shaped up very well over the past few years and are
well established organizations now with clear aim and vision.
Its primary objectives include
-
Organizing
activities for promotion of Art & literature on national
as well as international level
-
Organizing
exhibitions, workshops, training camps and demonstrations for
children, upcoming and
established artists
-
Organizing National
&
International level competitions
-
Giving awards and scholarships to deserving artists
-
Helping handicapped people to promote their artistic talents
-
Honoring talented artists
-
Organizing special program exclusively on Girl Child for promotion of
women status in society
-
Conducting various programs for slum-dwellers to unearth hidden talents
amongst them
-
Enabling artists to sell their works as well
In
fact the basic reason behind segregating the parent
organization Kshitij into two distinct organizations namely
Kshitij and Anjuman was the overwhelming response of
participants from all over India, which made it eventually
difficult to co-ordinate the whole activity of evaluation and
awards distribution.
Consequently,
owing to the demands of participating schools, the governing
body of these two organizations has decided to organize
exhibitions for Kshitij and Anjuman separately at two-three
different times every year.
